My blessings fills my belly 5:41 PM

My boss is so nice; he bought me a Crystal card holder on his flight back from Tokyo for Christmas. And I have to be really discreet about it because he hasn’t gotten anyone else a gift but me. I bought him a pretty cool designer coffee mug and some festive goodies too!

In spite of the conservative culture, environment, workload, and all my complaints, I am blessed with an understanding boss who is giving me the opportunity to learn and gain exposure here. I really thank God for this and should probably count my blessings more often and hold my whiny tongue. I feel a surge of encouragement today, and will push myself to work hard again.

I won’t be able to take the German classes in January as planned, due to some HR cost-cutting measures. They want me to do it in mid-March instead, on a weekday after work. Though a little disappointed, I shall not complain.

Its 3 days before Christmas, and also Chinese Winter Solstice today. I think I will buy some glutinous rice balls home to have with my mum and cuzzie tonight. I miss my grandad tonnes… and I hope my granny’s feeling alright. I can’t wait to see her for Christmas, and I’m looking forward to my Turkey with chestnut stuffing with cranberry sauce. It’s only a chore to have to collect it after work on Wednesday.

I just had lunch with R & Y at Sakae sushi, and I had yummy food! But I’m hungry now… feel like eating steak or shrimp or something meaty. My period is not here yet. Cravings… I really feel like having Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream from Gelare but after Saturday’s Yami Yoghurt incident, I’m really scared. I better stay far away from my danger foods.

Tomorrow I will have lunch with my boss tomorrow for yet gigantic gut-taxing oily meal. I’m looking like a stuffed turkey already. It doesn’t help that my pre-period bloated season coincides with so many Christmas parties, New Year gatherings, photoshoots and weddings to attend now. Still feel unpretty.
