Last Saturday, I went to the Johor Circuit in Pasir Gudang to watch people race at night. It's a quarter-mile race, also known as Drag racing in the States. The track was a run down circuit filled with many heavily modified cars with boisterous engines sounding their angry roars... very very noisy. My first time there, it was interesting... for about 10 minutes. Then the races continued and I got bored. It was an eye opener though.

I'm preparing myself for intensity ahead... at least until the end of the year. Not only do I wanna work hard, I wanna work smart and excel. Be the best at what I do. The ambitious and competitive side of me is kicking in... Then I'll take a well deserved holiday with my dear girlies. Am so sad that I can't join them for Phuket this time round, but a little short term sacrifice may be necessary for my long term career ahead. I really hope to do well in my new position. It takes priority over almost everything now.

I just visited aunt Jennifer in Raffles Hospital yesterday during her chemotherapy and I'm so relieved that she's feeling and looking better now. I bought her a pretty pink daisy to cheer her up and I'm glad she liked it too. Aunt Michelle is back from the States for a month. Haven't seen her in years! She casually asked if I'm still modelling and my mum had to answer on my behalf. Now my entire extended family will know. Sigh. Gossips spread like wild bushfires in my family.

I'm thinking of... buying a car... again! I know that I've been talking about this for ages... but the notion has once more crossed my mind. Hmm....
