We're already into the 3rd week of 2008... are things looking up?

I feel as if I'm not done packing up after the drama in December 2007 - the holidays, the people, the events, the emotions etc... all still splattered across my already cluttered visceral floor.

I had a good trip and some hearty girl talk with my friends in KL, notwithstanding the numerous little happenings in the few days we were there. We did spontaneous stuff, like going on a roller coaster and other thrill rides.. which G aptly used as an analogy for our love lives. Somewhat prophetic. Little did she know that sometime before X'mas I was to experience a whirlwind adventure of my own... So hard to forget, so scarily accurate.

Macau is indeed the oriental playground for the rich. Almost a place of decadence. Hong Kong, in all its exuberance, seem lack of sentiment. Whilst I'm not the most patriotic of persons around, Singapore does feel more like home...

Nonetheless, I yearn to get out of the comfort zone. Possibly a move out of the country? I don't know what the future holds.. but I do pray that 2008 will be a year that hopes eventuate...
